COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT
Community Service is recognized by USD 243 as a part of lifelong learning. Students provide many hours of community service throughout the year, and those who complete the number of required community service hours during their *high school career are recognized for their efforts at graduation. Students are required to complete 60 hours of service to receive recognition. Community service hours will be added to the student’s transcript. Students cannot be paid for this volunteer work and cannot work for relatives. All hours of community service must be worked outside of school hours unless specifically organized by the school counselor.
